FAQ
What happens if the city doesn't have signs?
That's the fun of an adventure right? If a city has no good sign then there is no way to collect that city, you'll have to find another one.
When can I start/stop my tour?
You can start any time after the first day, April 1 2008,
and end any time before the last day, October 31, 2008. You'll know when you receive your rally flag.
What happens if I can't park my bike by a sign?
If there is little to no road, or it's too dangerous to park your bike then park somewhere else and walk. Even if you're bike is up the road we would like to see it to show you've gotten there by bike. However, being smashed by a car isn't a fun adventure.
Where did all of the locations come from?
Indy has been to lots of places in his life, most of the cities are places he's visited in his adventures. One of the best places to look if you’re interested is Raiders.net’s timeline.
How many different bikes can I use?
You can use as many different bikes as you own. If you have five different bikes and like to use them all, then by all means use them all.
Can I go to New London instead of London?
No, If the city name is London then going to New London is not the same. Nor is Londontown, Londonville etc.
What about London College?
Yes, if you can find a college or museum named London College, or London Museum you can use them. However, you can not use them if the college/museum is in the same town you have already used. For example if London College is in London you can not use both. You may use any school of higher education, this means after high school.
Why can I only use Las Vegas only twice?
Because there are too many locations that can be found in Vegas, what kind of adventure would it be if all someone did was travel to Vegas? The same might go for other cities as well. (Amended to two cities.)
For the Extra Bonuses can I go to a place called Stonehenge, etc?
No, you must find a permanent structure that looks like the original. For example there is Carhenge, and Foamhenge which will work, however, America's Stonehenge does not because it doesn't look anything like Stonehenge. This is the reason you can't take more then one photo in Las Vegas, there are way too many locations. A permanent structure can not be something you've built in your backyard, unless you built Carhenge I suppose, and must be at least one meter high.
Hey, you can't take a motorcycle to Venice Italy!
I realize this, take a photo of you and your flag at St. Mark's Square.
What can be used for the Indiana Jones 'item'?
You can use any type of media, toy, poster whatever that has an Indiana Jones theme to it. You may even use something that parodies Indiana Jones, i.e. Mad Magazine. You can not use any film review or movie times as that would be way to easy. Nor is printing something off of the internet allowed.
What's a site number and how do I get one for the Archaeology bonus?
A site number is a unique number given to each dig site. The person in charge of the site will let you know what the number is. Most sites will either be free or have a nominal charge, as in $10-30, to help out. These costs go to helping pay for the incidentals. Just for the record I know what an archaeological site looks like so no digging in your backyard and trying to pass it off.
